Hi, im new here. Was never really much into cars, always a 4x4 pick up and 350 sbc kind of guy until recently my friends got me into tuner cars. I currently own a 92 Grand am with the 2.3l auto trans. That blew timing chain at 98,000 miles and bent every rod. Fixed it now has about 105,000 its my daily driver. Aslo own a 86 k2500 4x4 350sbc turbo 400 trans, my bull all my friends out of the ditch truck and drive to work in the snow.
My project car is a 93 beretta. Equipped with the 3.1 and auto trans. Currently has 155,000miles. It currently does not run. The rack and pinion rusted out on all the welds onto the fire wall and got ripped off and was undrivable. i at the time didnt have the tools to fix so took it to my uncles car lot to see if he could. He really didnt want to do it so it sat there for a little over a year until 2 days ago when i dragged it home. Currently will not start, still trouble shooting it. Runs real rich. has to turn the fly wheel quite a few times and have to hold down the gas for it to start and will die as soon as you let off the gas. My sister spilled pop all over the interior before the steering rack broke and now interior is covered in mold and needs to be replaced.
Plan on a 3400 swap, 5speed swap, Custom interior, maybe more.

Will a 5speed out of a 91 cavalier with 2.2l bolt to a 3.1 and 3400?
