Hi all. I am picking up a mint 94 Cutlass Supreme for free(well for trade for the truck I got for free by trading my old Taurus I got for free well you get the point lol) Its NEVER been winter driven, it has 115,000 original KMs on it, and there is not one spec of rust on it, EVER. It is powered by the lovely 3100SFI. The only problems it has is it needs a new temp sensor because when it warms up it sputters, the fog light bulbs are burnt out and it needs a new gas tank but it come with a new one. My plan is to keep it mostly stock but I want to add a nice muscle car style exhaust on it. I got a couple questions, what is the stock exhaust size? And B what is the best performance air filter to use, and C that is the best chip to use? Thanks all.

the PCM doesn't use chips like the older ones since it's essentially an OBD2 PCM with an OBD1 signaling protocall. unfortunately it's not tuneable.

depending on what exactly you want to replace on the exhaust will determine what size compnents you'll be looking for. i replaced the muffler on the 95MC LS with a cherry bomb glasspack (87502 IIRC), and love the sound of it.

it SHOULD be 2" after the cat, but i'm not 100% sure on that.

so would 2" single in dual 2 1/4" out be good? I got 2 2.5" Jegs muffler I can use off my old Mustang GT if that would be better lol

2.5" is a little much for a stock 3100 car. Stock that car has 2" piping.

2.25" pipping on a stock L82 motor is perfect. Throw some pics of the mufflers up! I'm curious to get an idea of how it'll look.
