Hey everyone, been awhile since I was on here, thought I would say hello again, and post some new pics here soon. Have made a few mods to the Grand Prix and will post pics in the picture area if that is cool? Just added a plug-and-play H.I.D. kit (High Intensity Discharge headlights) with plans to mod some headlight housings to go full bi-xenon so I can have my high beam headlights back. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year.

          Welcome back.

Please tell me you didn't illegally install the HID kit already. There are a couple people around here with them in Halogen housings and I want to crash into them every time I see them because they practically blind me.

Retrofit HIDconversion bulbs that fit in place of halogen bulbs are illegal to use on the road in UK just like they are in the rest of Europe and even the US...

That video is from Europe, but the United States has a similar law.

Well, for now, yes the bulbs are in the stock housings, the shape of the reflector plus how I have them aimed keeps the glare way down. I have not had trouble blinding people so far. I have friends that have passed me at night and told me they do not have trouble with me blinding them. The light pattern is about the same as when I had my halogen bulbs, and the aim with them is how I had them with the low beams before. I am going to be modding a set of headlights to fit in bi-xenon projectors so I have the clean cut off line and so I can have my high beams back, because as before with my halogens, I can see only so far on low beam and want the extra distance of my high beams back. I could fix this by aiming the current setup up a bit, but it would blind others and I am not willing to do that just as before with the halogens. Sorry if I make no sense, kinda out of it on cold meds and about to head to bed. I know alot of people have given me fits about my lights, and understandably so, but, I made sure A) not to have them aimed high, B) I didn't get them in purple, insane blue or some other weird color ( 10,000K or higher) and C) as soon as I can afford the projectors and new headlight housings, I will be getting those modded and installed as soon as possible. I have a friend that just modded his Grand Prix GTP with a set of bi-xenon projectors, it looks great, gives him high beams back and he is now using I believe a D2S bulb instead of a re-based bulb to fit the 9007 housings. 55 Watt bulbs and ballasts maybe a touch too much for most people, but I need all the light output I can get, and I am doing my best to make sure I blind noone for the most part. If need be, I can also cut down on glare and things like that with some paint in just the right spots on the reflector, and if need be the lens them selves. I am doing my best not to blind people because I hate it myself. Will take awhile to get bi-xenon projectors into my car though, money is very tight right now, but do have an idea of how to do things better than what my friend did with his Grand Prix, as there are more options out for projectors now then when he started his modd.

Well, I'm glad you are trying to avoid blinding people. I hate those morons that just simply don't care and drive around with them aimed stock and don't care who they blind. Every time I go by them I wish I were a cop, and I really don't care for cops.

I do understand that, the lights that bother me most though are those idiots that buy the 10,000K to 30,000K bulbs which are intense blue to purple, because you know they can't see all that far with them, then they aim them high and not only can they not see very far, but they are blinding people as well. I will hopefully be starting on my headlight modd to fit in the bi-xenon projectors, and I plan to get projector fog lights to do a 35 Watt H.I.D fog light in 2500K (yellow) and those will be aimed low enough not to blind people either and still help in the fog.
