I see badging residue on the door. Polishing compound will fix that, and it can help with the rear bumper issue too.

Maybe even some Goof Off and a heat gun set on low (or better yet a hair drier). It's still a nice car. You can't tell it in the pic of my car, but the roof and spoiler paint is shot. My car lived in Texas and Florida it's whole life until I bought it, and the Texas sun has no mercy on paint so my car needs a paint job. I don't want to do it until I get my 20k '95 engine in it though. Well, that and it takes money to get a car painted, lol.

Lol, well, I plan to paint my car and get the body work done all at once, when I do, I am thinking the orange from the '04 to '08 Grand Prix, I like that metallic orange.

I know that shade of orange, it's the same shade 03-04 GAGT's got, Fusion Orang Metallic. Awesome color.

I love that color, and I think it will look great on the GP

Sorry... I wasn't clear on my post. I meant Goof Off and a hair drier or heat gun should probably take care of the badging adhesive. If you use a heat gun, just don't cook your paint.

No worries, if I decide to get the rest of the adhesive off, I wont cook the paint. What I used to get the adhesive off the driver's side was Goo Gone Gell, it helped, I just ran out of it before I could get all of it off the passenger side it seems. I will say, using Goo Gone on paint is something to becareful of, I made sure I washed my car as soon as I was done with the adhesive removal.

I use goo gone to debadge a lot of cars. I always hit the spot with polishing compound after, and a bit of wax if needed.

Speaking of wax, I seriously can't wait for Spring to come, I washed my GA yesterday, and it's in desperate need of a detail. Bad enough, I might have it professionally done. Oy...

I may try to save my paint come spring time, see if I can make it white again, not almost tan.

You'd be surprised what a good claybaring will do. My issue though, is swirlmarks. They are evil, and wish to drive me crazy.

I don't have any swirl marks in the paint, I don't think the paint has had that kind of treatment, I know I have been rough on my car as of late, but I think I am taking care of it better still than anyone that owned it before.

Welcome! I'm right up the road from you also outside of Fort Smith.

I would replace that MAF screen as soon as possible.
It's not causing enough restriction to cost you any power sorry to say,but it will cost you transmission issues in the long term.
I used to pull MAF's way back in the day when we it was the cool thing to do,i've done it on enough of my vehicles (I keep them forever almost) before I learned better.

The screen is there to smooth out and make the airflow laminar across the MAF sensor wire.
On GM's the MAF is the main load calculating device for the transmission from the pcm,and it needs the laminar airflow.

If your ever around my area (sallisaw,ok) let me know,I've got all the equipment to tune your car-I'm not offering a tune but if you want the cat programmed out or speed limiter or something turned off i'll be glad to help.
I'm also a dealer tech (not gm) so if you need any help i'm here.
                          Welcome to the site.

Thank you for the offer, I do plan to replace that screen when I replace my MAF, looked at it the other day and it looks like it has been on the fast track to failing. Money is tight at the moment though, and as for programing the cat out and things like that in the computer, think you could reset where the fans kick on? Right now, I believe my car has a 195 degree thermostat, but the fans kick on at 215 or so, and I feel that is way too high, is there a way you could set the fans to about 195 or so? I do plan to put a cooler thermostat in sometime time in the future as funds allow, and any help I would be very much thankful for.

Yeah, fan controls can be reset also.
One day when your down this way we can have some fun with it.
If you go cooler on the thermo, got to the 180 and don't mess with 160.

I don't plan on 160, I was thinking about the 180, and thank you very much, when it gets warmer and I have some spare cash, I will have to head down that way.
