try not to take it too personally but basically what you need to do on here is start with a word or 2, & search/read for a few hours. i now understand why people always were so nasty to me when id ask stuff like this & its because there are loads of threads with tons of good info for all of your needs, & after going over it so many times people just kinda get the attitude that "if you're not going to take -your- time & search, im not going to take -my- time & post a long in depth response (like the one i did).
just get on & search "turbo" in the pushrod forums & start reading, & then if you have a question search one or 2 of the key words from the question & pick out a thread title that sounds like it might have some of what you are looking for.
once you learn to do this-660 basically becomes a great big book on how to build/turbo/supercharge your engine-& then if you cant seem to find something specifically-then ask.
take it from someone who posted LOADS of bs already answered threads before learning the proper techniques for searching-& trust me i got plenty of rude ass responses because people on here that have been on for years, & who have the knowledge to help-just get sick of seeing the same questions asked by people who dont do a good thorough search first.
if you think im kidding-just search my username & watch all the threads that pop up...
also-on a final note-go to the left hand side of the page & click old articles & then click 3x00-it has a section on building your engine for boost-your crank & rods are fine but the pistons, intake gaskets, & valve springs are what needs upgraded/replaced to turbo-most of the rest is just for more & more hp.
kuntzie on tgpforums put down a smidge under 400 WHP with a stock crank & stock rods, which only differ from yours with small things like the bead blasting treatment & a coating to increase hardness (which can be done to your stuff).
so no you dont need $5000 in forged parts to turbo your car, but you will need to upgrade the weak points like valve springs, rod bolts, pistons/rings, intake gaskets, & a tune-that should have you ready to put out as much power as most non-big block v8's made before the LS6.
