It has been a while but I finally got to take the MG out. The tuning still needs work but is drivable. The 3.89:1 rear gear is too much with the small diameter tires and I want to change it at some point. A 3.23:1 or so would be a huge improvement. It is fairly easy to take off in 3rd gear.

The cam has 260/264 duration .562 lift & 110 LSA. The exhaust is BCC shorty headers into about 30" long 2" pipes that merge into a 2.5" cheapy turbo muffler with a 18" long straight tailpipe.
It is fun to drive. Punch the pedal at 1500 rpm in second gear and it breaks the tires loose. It's cool but the kind of car that can get me in trouble.MinusOne - 3100 - 4T60E

Put a H or X pipe and it should sound better.
So details, variable intake: functional or or not? If not maybe try the 3500VVT upper instead...

I really am not too worried about the sound at this point. If anything I want it really quiet. No need to attract attention.
I am basically running a GEN-III cam setup and have not experimented with the variable intake yet. There is an LZ4 plenum sitting here to do some comparisons with.MinusOne - 3100 - 4T60E
