I have the CMM measurements from the VVT actuator and plan to make some limiters to hold the cam in a neutral position for those who would like to run a stock or reground cam. From what I remember about the CMM measurements, your cam is around 20 degrees advanced from a straight up position Joseph.

Jon... I wish that it were finished for the meet. Of course I still wouldn't drive it that far right now as there are too many loose ends to tie up. Not to mention that the top still needs to be put back on.

British cars for the most part do not have that muscle car look but can be improved with flares, wheels etc like the red one below. Although I will be changing wheels, I plan to keep it basically stock outside. Sure does hurt the other guy when he gets whipped by a girlie car. I don't think many in their right mind would say that the original Cobras were girls cars.

Now I will say that some British cars a quite ugly. I had a Daimler Dart in last moth for some repairs and even though it was cool from the standpoint that it was a fiberglass body on a steel frame with a high revving 2.5L V8, it surely was not my type of car. Of course, my daughter loved it.

Sounds like a 2 stroke dirt bike... LOL

                Nice work.

I just spend my weekend in VT driving a 76' Triumph, following or being followed by a 60' Austin-Healey... I respect the British cars, even in stock form

The only problem we had the whole trip was the rotor and distributor cap crapped out on the Healey, and it was about 4 years old, so it was due (corroded screws on the cap going into the wires). We had the parts though.
