that photo effect/exposure or whatnot is absolutely amazing.
also i used to do something similar with my old eurosport 4 door with LQ1 & auto trans, what id do is get it on a 45* angle with one set of wheels on an embankment & the other on however much road i could grab.
sounds dumb as hell but the car was cheap, it was loads of fun, & i never did end up dropping that car in the ditch altho i used to do that embankment crap several times a night lol.
the motor ended up blowin all the oil out of somewhere while i was passing someone doing 90 down a hill & that was all she wrote-but this was probably 3-4 months later.
you scared me for a min as well, when i read the title i didnt think you meant "grind" in a skateboarder way, & instead thought you kissed a rail, im glad to see you didnt!
I bet it is real with some funky filter/exposure effect. I like it, it looks really cool. But no, I haven't tried grinding a rail with my car. I have climbed some curbs (on purpose) with my truck though, just because it's a truck, lol.

the pictures are indeed real!! HDR is correct (high dynamic range) its like seeing 24 bit in 8 bit mode i guess.
glad you all like. i can teach if you have a DSLR camera, or any camera that shoots in RAW mode.
if youre interested in my photogallery, just check my signature. i shoot anything and everything. so alot of it is kinda boring.

gratz on that! the "raters" have done so very wisely that or they just got all caught up in that fantastic looking photography, but with a car like that all that matters is that...
I was thinking you used curves on a few channels and combined them.

thanks guys!! ive never really been #1 and deserved it! hahaha i used to just tell people with shitty cars i gave them 5 stars (mostly new people with a fresh new ride looking for friends) and on top of that im a member of Team Car Domain and get blue text with a flashey looking name when i leave comments, so people are gonna read them for sure. then they all came and pretty soon i had a 4.5 star buick regal that looked ok, but wasnt really anything special if you ask me.
its since been downrated appropriately, but it WAS #1 buick regal for a SHORT time. this car has been #1 before, when it was brand new. but people hate-n-downrate. lol
i do agree about the photography too!! it helps, i mean who else has HDR pictures of their ride on cardomain?? me. lol thats all i know of anyhow.
-if anyone is interested, its a program called Photomatix
and you have to shoot 3 pictures on a tripod (works best) and shoot one over exposed, one under exposed and one even. photomatix stacks them up and you play with various levels, curves and balances from there. i usually run em through photoshop after too, or do two separate HDR pictures to get more detail in the background as well as the subject in the image. its all about layers. like an onion.
you can... but i have 118 other TCD members that rate with me... lol we can turn a 5 star car into a 1 star car if someone screws with us!!
-but dont look too hard into that right now, im the ONLY TCD member who pays any attention to the forum, for about a month now. and before that it was 6 guys tops. lol kindof an idle threat.
