  • My GTP, A work in progress

Hello all, my name is mike and here's my car I bought two 1/2 years ago:

It's a '95 grand prix gtp that's Arctic White with a tan cloth interior. Not many people like tan interiors but I do for some reason. Probably because I don't really see them in "my" car unlike TGPs where every second one has a tan interior.

The car has been a huge handful for it only being my second car. The first was a 1993 SE Grand Prix. I seen this one and just had to have it, but it has come with a price. The 3.4 dohc has been a curse for parts. So far I have replaced countless parts such as:

2 headlight lamps, front tie rods, E-Brake cable, Front Passenger side caliper, Spark Plugs and Wires, Plenum gasket, the "O ring leak", A/C Bypass pulley(compressor bearings seizing up), alternator( taking a tire off..wtf! lol), waterpump and thermostat, wheel barring (now i need another front one lol), rear trailing arm, normal brake work and rubber, Loads and loads of old vacuum lines and broken plastic connectors/ports, and most recently a small coolant hose coming from the waterpump to the metal line running around the engine. I also deleted the resonator and had dynomax mufflers installed shortly after I bought the car. It sounds alright but I want 40 series flowmasters and a whole new exhaust.

I was also unlucky and hit a raccoon a year ago breaking the bottom or "valence" of my front clip. The paint began to flake off fast and I had to have it repainted with a rattlecan unfortunately as I do not have the money right now to fix it just yet. My rear spoiler was also stolen a few months ago and that's probably the biggest eyesore, but someday I'll have this car looking the way I want it. My most recent problem is that my fans don't come on until the temp is beyond half and almost to 3/4 mark.

Here are a few more pictures of when I still had the spoiler and recent ones:
