Been browsing through the site and felt like it'd be a good idea to join. I just bought an 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix, 74,000 miles on it, for $1,500. It's got a 2.8L v6, hooked up to a 4 speed automatic transmission. All red on the outside, and all red in the inside. Only real problem on it is that it needs the engine mounts replaced, the engine is moving around a little too much for my liking, probably going to need new brakes in a thousand miles or so, and of course it's gauges are little messed up just like a lot of other GM cars, the gauge I really car about is the fuel, and speedometer which is digital anyway, oil pressure, voltage, don't work very well, and sometimes not at all, and the tachometer likes to work when it wants too, if anyone can point me in the right direction to fix the gauges that would be nice, but still It's a nice little first car I think, its got a little pick up for an older v6, definitely not as slow as my other friends little 4 banger Saturn's/ Honda's. Just felt like I should introduce myself before I go crazy with asking questions on other topics, so bare with me people
