ahhhh........ amazing 60 ft time with the engine bogging down some! that baby really sings at the top of third! what rpm are you shifting at? 6500? have you had it on the dyno after this set up?
Bogging? that's the slicks gripping after a 3500-4K RPM launch.. hehe
I shift between 6500 and 6700 RPM, it's probbaly closer to 280 WHP now that i got some tuning problems worked out. If there is a V6 bash next year i'll put it on the dyno again. Untill then i'm just happy that it's still running..
yeah, it sounds like you ease the clutch out, then the rpm comes down. just sounds like it's struggling, then the cam comes on. i love the vid!! can't....stop....watching.....!!!!
remember, the 275 rating was with the other tranny FDR. that swap is a great example that a lower ratio may not make you go faster. for you, it was the opposite. you should lose the hp rating with the higher FDR. it'll be interesting to see what you end up with.
i swear you dynoed last year with 275, then changed the tranny. ahhh! i hate that!! if i dig, i'm sure i could find the post you made that would verify that or not.
Yes, the tune is very custom.. hundreds of hours involved.
I'm gonna be buying a tuner suite before years end so any pointers you can give me in terms of playing with Power enrichment, KNock retard, Fuel trim ect id love to have because I dont wanna tweak my motor and torpedo it in the process by over tweaking any parameters.
