  • My Corsica

Here's some pictures of my car for those that haven't seen it or have seen it and don't realize what its hiding. These need updating a little bit already. I installed my Vac. block so everything looks better but Ill get pics of that once I change my injectors and upper intake

Im still cleaning this up after a coolant leak and trans install. Also have to install my Vac. block to clean all the hoses up and a little more painting of a few parts

New engine bay pics. Got the Vac. block installed. Also changed out the upper intake for one with a better port job and a more "stock" look while I was changing the injectors to 42.5# ones
Wanted to repaint the fuel rail but didnt have the paint so oh well, next time. Still a bit of cleaning up to do but its looking better

Golden Eagle Vac block. Cleaned the hoses up alot and the BOV is finally working properly. Its mounted with wire ties for now till I find a better way to mount it

Nice, makes me want another Corsica!!
But I notice the heat shielding on the intake pipe after the MAF , then it stops befor the TB and what looks like a rubber/plastic pipe/coupler that hangs over the hotside and Dp?
        Any issues there?

Its a VERY thick rubber connector. So far I haven't had any issues with it. The shielding is just crappy stick on stuff. I was tying to use to to help keep some heat off the pipe right there but it still sucks. I need a turbo blanket for the exhaust housing

they just pay some dealership a zillion bucks for something factory fast, has it's own charm, but it's not the same as taking that car and getting to know it. Like a fuckin dog, mans best friend
