I made a slight adjustment tonight..

built a 2.25" X pipe to try and combat the extreme loudness and funny 3-cyl sound while crusing under load... i looked at X pipes on Summit and they were just too expencive so i grabbed a 24" piece of 2.25" pipe from the parts store and made my own.

total cost: $4 and a few hrs to make and weld in place..

(i hadn't cleaned the welds off yet.. still using flux core wire in the new welder )

    Installed:

So far i've only heard it idle, it's deffenetly quieter there.. we'll see how it is on the way to work tomorrow. If i get time i'll make a new video this weekend.

Have you tested out the O pipe though? The butt dyno reads pretty high once one of those bad boys are installed.

I can't wait for vids supeRdave!

well, it's about half as loud as it was before. the 3-cyl sound is gone and it feels like it picked up some low end grunt.

Now your making me want to hear mine again... I had a cat and cutout on it before and I most recently took that out and put a straight pipe in its location so now I just have the Edelbrock SDT muffler... and I have YET to even hear it since um yeah with a auto you cant start the motor if there is no diff or fluid in your transmission

hopefully I'll have a vid sunday to rival my old vid.

And your cam just sounds like its too hard to run... LOL, mine is pretty agressive too, but I think I could have gone more on the intake duation but so far it seems to be ok... Unless Ben comes up with another cam that will prove more power for me then I'm stickin with what I got.
