  • My 99 Cruiser

    Hello all,

My name is Colin and I am new to the site but not new to the malibu or the store. I have a 1999 malibu which has had a complete overhaul done to it.
    Current mods are
    Motor
    3400 swap
4t45-X (still trying to figure this out) swap
    Custom cam via Ben
    Ported and Polished heads
    Port and polished intake manifolds
    33# injectors
    TOG Headers
Stage 3 CAI from Dr. Speed
    Hooker Muffler
    Walbro Fuel Pump
    62MM RSM throttle body

    Suspension
Eibach lowering springs (actually a "lift kit" compared to the old drop zones so I could fit my kit on)
KYB Gr-2 shocks and replacement mounts
    Rear Disk Brake conversion
    RSM slotted rotors

    Body
    Malibu Cruiser Body Kit
(working on a CF hood but only when our CF trunk gets made)
    17" Mille Miglia EVS Rims
10000K HID for High and Lows

    Audio
    Alpine 9856 deck
    Knukonceptz 0 gauge kit
    2 Knukoncepts 1.2 Farad caps
    2 Alpine Type R 12's at 1 ohm dropped from 2
    Optima Redtop
2 sets of Infinity kappa perfect 5 1/4" components
    RF 8004 BD 4 channel
    RF 1500 BD mono block

I think thats it... atleast what I have off the top of my head.

the kit's pretty clean, theres just something about the rear bumper that looks a little off. still looks a lot like a spec V-era SE-R to me w/o looking at the rear bumper.

36# injectors isn't that a little big even with your mods? If you can get it tuned and run well with them I guess it's no problem though. Always reserve for future stuff.

yes i am running an underdrive pulley and yes it is around 225. Its hard to say as the high point is where my tranny is actually slipping to get into another gear. I guess tuning that is next if the tranny isnt maxed out.
