  • Time for a big change

The motor is sold, along with the turbo pipes, this is how it looks now. Next motor is a 3.4 with a 3500 top end, foward facing headers, new intercooler, and new exhaust system.

Sounds like you have your work cut out... you going to Squirt it or use a GM computer?

How much power were you squezing out of the old setup?

Yep lots of work comming up. I should be getting some headers today from a member of another member that bought the pipes, and they are getting fitted to my y-pipe. Then the motor is comming out to get refreshed for yet annother member. Then I can start the rebuild.

I am unsure of how much power, never made it to the track/dyno before I was being stupid and hit the rev limiter causing lean condition and failed a bearing (actually sounded like a cannon going off ). I just sold a MS1 (before it was installed) to help pay for the new motor, and haven't decided if I want to repin the 7730 to a 7727, and use turbo pontiac code, or get another MS (this time will be MS2). It really depends on funds once I get that far. First I want to get tthe new motor in and running/tuned, then re-turbo it.
