got it saturday. dark tealish green, very nice condition, sporting the hub caps. 3400 v6, it has 56,4xx miles and was bought for $6,800+$408 in taxes= $7208!! used to be a p.i's car, still got the amp for the c.b in the trunk and a survelliance mode button(cuts all lights when they are on automatic). as far as having a 9C1 package, i don't know, i don't remember seeing it on the trunk rpo tag, if it even is printed on it.

that still is a mystery. it works for the ignition, but not the trunk. i'm thinking its one of those coincidences that one key could work for 2 cars deal.

thanks! yup, alive at 25! time for insurance to drop, i hope. i do plan on mods, cosmetic and performance! got some advice on gettinh a dhp tuner to improve shiftpoints and to improve the gearing to 2.86 fdr ftl. i'm a e-baying stuff for it. i'd like to replace the stock air intake arm w/a tube arm. cursed ribbed tubes!

Police package impalas are a blast. I had a 2000 with the 9C1 package for a couple years. Mine had the 3800 N/A tho.

You will love the car. And surveillance mode is fun too. You should replace those hubcaps with the 9/C1 police package wheels with chrome center caps.

long time no post! the car isn't a police package, but oh well, at least it can look like it! i made a d.i.y. intake from the stock box's snorkle and a $15.99 spectre cone filter. its not quite the fender well version, YET! it has been staying cool which is a plus and is just infront of the headlight opening. pics, why sure!

i was just looking at your cardomain page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/360699/3 and I seen the qt mile times, mid to high 16's was it realllly hot there or somthing?? my car used to run them times I got a new exhaust and moded the stock air box into my short ram air box(hot air intake!) so it wouldnt suck up all the hott air im guesses if you do the same you should be in the mid to high 15's i also have a Jet chip too but its most likely bullshit ne ways. by looking at your times im guessing its your 330 foot thats killing your time, if you have a hot air intake try to block the heat

also what ever you where running with the 2 set of slips killed ur 330 foot, you ran better with just the chip!

i think the last time i'd raced it was in the 170k mile range, then the first time was in the 150k area. can't remember the weather conditions then, may have beena factor.
