yah i had thought about that, but its just not the same as having a kit that was made for your type vehicle, and i think the honda kit has a smaller ID intake pipe than say MP racing does

if the MP racing kit has a bigger pipe than what i have then that requires cutting the body to make it fit in the fender (PITA?). unless you have a huge MAF and TB that big pipe is a waste IMO.

i thought the honda was like 2.5 and im prettuy sure the mp is 3" as well. i think i like the mp racing better, but i need to find a comp that sells u bend in that tubing so i can possibly make a custom cai

I have a honda pipe and its 3". Then I just made the piece from the maf to the tb. You could buy a cheap ebay grand am intake to extend yours into the fenderwell with no cutting.

yah, but i dont like the DS intake i have right now, i gotts worry bout the grommets comming out, then its really tight for me to put the maf wiring on the maf and the pcv hose is stretched out and in a funny position.

the ds kit is basically the same thing as MP...dont waste your money buying a new one...

well i only have the ds stage 2 kit, so my filter and everything is still under the hood in the stock air box location...i thought the ms kit went into the fender

ok so here is the update on what i WANT to do and what i will prob get accomplished for my car. ok right now im getting the CAI from MP racing, and soon the trans will be finished, as soon as i can get the LSD. thats the only thing i am waiting on for my trans. then i will get it pressure tested and see if itll do ok. so then its on to the 3500 top end swap, 4.2 L injectors, 65mm tb, then to tune it with my dhp PT. im ordering another set of headers to get coated with swain techs white lightning. then before the top end goes on, i wanna get the good head work that sappy does get them coated, then have them sent off to get cryo treated, or cryo treated then coated, either way. then finally installing the AFPR. hopefully ill get a dyno run soon and get the AFPR tuned in first. then getting some DR's and taking it to the track about the end of Feb first of March when the track opens. also ill be getting an electric cutout installed soon also. i just installed the factory steering wheel with radio controls, im really happy about that. mine only had the leather steering wheel. ill keep it updated with my progress

ok so i got into an accident, so i will have more downtime to make the upgrades to my car, so good and bad, and im going to upgrade from the SC/T hood to the SD hood, just personal preferrence

just pulling into a parking spot in an apt complex, had just stopped to look for a spot then drove to park and the sun was in my eyes, so i couldnt see the car at all, and i have a person with me that didnt see it either, and just ran along the side of it, cops said it was my fault, i said why cuz i cant sue the son you have to blame me??? they didnt like that too much
