jesus dude. he's not even tuned it from the sound of his posts. and some people aren't concerned with dyno #'s. i know i won't be dynoing my car when it's done, i'd rather just put down #s at the track for proof.

I was playing with the timing and the car seems to pull harder in the low rpms but im not realy making all that much torq. I need to put the larger crank pulley on.

The weather channel saying its going to rain wednesday, thursday and friday. I dont no if I am going to be able to do any track passes this year. The track is 3 hours away. This sucks. I may end up mothballing it till spring. I do have a gtech pro but I know people dont like the numbers. Should I still give the gtech a shot?

Don't take this the wrong way, but it looks like you will be running into more belt issues, namley slipping.

Look at the belt wrap that the 3800 has, the belt goes almost all the way around both the crank pulley AND the blower pulley. Condsidering the boost levels you will probably run, (likley higher then the 3800's was) the torque needed at the blower will be greater, and without that belt wrap, you are likley to start slipping, perhaps you already are slipping, keep a close eye on that boost gage.

Here's another idea: a mini-cowl. Don't cover up the whole supercharger, just make a cowl that stops just in front of the supercharger and keeps it from making a ton of unnecessary drag. Only build it up to be as high as the top of the blower. That way it wouldn't impede your sight any, either.

Anyone that could photoshop such a thing in there? I'm not 100% about how it would look.

I would love to see dyno numbers, even G-tech numbers, but don't go out of your way to please us. I wonder if Shaun had anyone breathing down his throat to get his nitrous-breathing 2.8 on the dyno?

Good job man, that almoast looks good enough to be an oem setup, besides the msd coils and the blue intake tube. Too bad gm never made a blower setup for these engines. Guess it's a little tall for that, though.

Nice work getting the sc on there. I'm curious to see what it'll put down when you get everything worked out.

Thanks guys wish I had more time. It still needs alot more work. I need to put the biger pully on. The car has major lag off the line I think due to the small crank pully im using.

I made this vid so you guys can hear what it sounds like. Damn cops were right around the corner.

Sweet! glad to see another boosted MC! Now Slap some bigger injectors in there (L67 or L32) and use the HPTuner software and a Wide band O2 and start the tuning. the stock injectors are definaly small for boost. mine are pretty much maxed out with my turbo setup!

I personally would leave the crank pulley and swap the blower pulley, that way you don't have such a huge pully sticking out of the hood and it would be easier to consiel (sp?) if you get a cowl. The USBodysource.com fiberglass hood would be a good one assuming you have enought clearance for the blower under a 3" cowl. You can trim and mold the fiberglass much easier then a metal cowl and it would also be seamless Also if you use a modular setup you can change boost levels by swapping pullies that are easy to get and very in size, Not to mention easier to swap

Try putting the belt on the other side of the tensioner, it would create more contact with the pulley.

Did that already the belt walks. I also have 42lb injectors and a lab grade wide band.
