i don't have a NORMAL auto car, so to speak. i have a 3k stall, 3.73 gears, shift kit, adjustable vaccum modulator, ported heads and intakes, the heads have been decked .020 and the head gaskets are .018 thinner than stock. ffp chip, ffp ud pulley, 2.5 magnaflow exhaust, true cai, tapered throttle body, my new motor only has 1100 miles on it. o and with that gear and the ffp chip my car shifts at 7100, i watched it on the tech 2, i did a snapshot. i can spin my tire for 50 feet in a straight away on dry pavement. right now the timing is stock, i don't really want to have my idle all crazy. i just feel the car needs more top end. is there anyway to do that cam timing and not have the car idle like shit? and if anyone knows anything else i can do to this motor let me know. thanks

Hey, why don't you try a RSM 72mm bored and ported throttle body/plenum, and a ported lower intake manifold. That should smooth out the flow and give a higher air speed. I've heard that that combo is great for top end. I don't think that the 96' manifold is a good idea, because those are different heads than the 95' it could cause you problems. I think the RSM manifolds would cost about $320USD
