I was wondering if anyone has ever played with the idea of milling material from the cam carriers to change the cam profile (obtain increased valve lift)? Assuming it was beneficial I'm guessing you couldn't remove much material before messing things up with the length of the timing belt. Also I guess you may have problems with the valves fully seating closed.
