safe dohc redline?

on a stock bottom end, what is a good safe redline, and yes i know you'd need work done to make power past 6.5k but just in terms of the bottom end holding together in stock form. thanks.

7000 should be fine for any DOHC in good running condition. Cam timing and a chip you can have a flat power curve till damn near 7k but I keep mine setup for 3-6.2k right now for the gas milage:P

Im shooting for P&P heads and intake, decked heads, and some kind of cam timing. havent figured what timing i want yet. thanks for the info though.
