  • I love the LQ1!

So, I was using a six point socket to remove the bolts holding the cam cogs on... And it rounded them off. Yay!

The dealer should be able to sell you new ones, I've bought them before.
Remove the ones that are now stuck by welding on a bolt, nut, or socket.
What size socket were you using?

      15MM Am-Pro 6-point.

So, more good news. I ran a compression check... The cylinders are ALL LOWER than when I started. What all will cause low compression(They dropped from the 150ish range to 90-120). Could this be because there's a problem with the valves? I lapped each valve pretty good before putting it in. Also, I don't have the crossover or intakes on.

Oh, and when I crank it, something's leaking from the rear passenger side of the motor. I think it's oil. Fucking piece of shit.

Lapped the valves? Ew.. I recommend getting a real valve job next time.
Might settle in once you run it for a bit. Why'd you do that if the compression was good before? Did you put new valves in?

What did you do to this motor?

I messed with it because I don't know when to leave well enough alone.

I did the headgaskets because I had one cylinder down 40+PSI from the rest.
