  • New Exhaust Sound clips and pics

it is on! Sounds GREAT! It is exactly how i planed it. The Cutout is just after the 1st resenator and after the exhaust hanger, goes to a side pipe on the passanger side. i ran the cable next to the center console.

there is a guy in my apt that has a mustang GT with a new exhaust, and my car sounds just like it! but i just push the cable back in, and its quiet again!

took it on a trip to orlando the other day, the thing flies with that cutout open. may just be in my head, but 70-100 came much faster then i remember. this thing is sweet! it wasnt too loud, but loud enough to get anoying after a bit, so I was able to just shut it by pushing the cable. and bamb back to normal! This is a must have IMO for any car!

    Here are the sound files:

sounds petty sweet, can you get pictures from underneath.when said you that the car flies, but it might be in your head,it reminded me when i was a kid my friends mom drove a new car.and his dad drove a pinto with holes in the muffler and when went somewhere ,his dad would ask "where you wnnna ride".and we'll answer "in the pinto cause it goes very fast".
i just love to watch the wheels turn around and around

i know it is faster cause i have this one bridge i go up every night after work. and by the crest i am always hitting a certain speed when i go all out. and now im getting about 5 mph higher then normal! and when i cut the cut out off it isnt as fast. so the gain is provable.

i am waiting until monday for my day off so i can get some good pics. its been too dark after i get out to get good pictures. but i'll get some up.

I need to have a friend drive it with me in another car... cause i have a big feeling it is much louder outside the car then inside with the cutout open. but on the bright side today i got a complement from some old guy in a sebring!

I'd imagine that's not emissions-legal (thank you Captain Obvious). Any way to hide that from the inspectors? Or would you have to patch the pipe?

it it 100% emisions legal. the factory cat is in place.

it might not be sound db legal. some states now have clauses that state that any aftermarket muffler ther performs other then the OEM is ilegal. and some just have a flat NO CUTOUT law. but this skirts these by retaining the factory resonator and cat. so if a cop has a problem with it, it still has sound supression and the cat. so it shouldnt be a prob. and it hasnt yet... it sounds like my neigbor's Cobra and that is 100% legal. so im fine
