Welcome and Merry Christmas!! Good to see some fellow Canadians around here.

The FFP underdrive pulley is a well liked product around here. As are all other FFP parts. I don't personaly have a UDP but I do have a poly dog bone. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny. Once you bolt it on you won't beleive the difference it makes, you would have paid double if you knew.

I've thought about this, but one thing worries me about UDPs.(correct me if I'm totally off base here)
If our alternators already suck, wouldn't spinning them slower cause them to burn out quicker since they'd be putting out less power under the smae load?

Yes, plus other problems as well. Power Steering and Air Conditioning will also suffer. Maybe not to the point of failure but at least reduced preformance.

        I personaly don't think it's a worth while mod.

dont forget that it also reduces the ammount of fluid pumped through the cooling system. Thats the biggest draw-back to it in my opinon. then again i dont have power steering nor a/c and id have to believe that the charging system in a fiero requires less draw than the w-bodies anyhow.

its hard for me to say how much power it made for me because i did the pulley at the same time as a bunch of other mods.

              TO EVERYONE,

I forgot to mention in my last reply that I can just have our machinist make new machined alternator and water pump pulleys to make up for the slower turning crank pulley.

If anyone is interested, let me know. I'll have to figure a price on them once I do them for my car to get an idea on the materials and time to make them up.
Tell everyone thats interested in buying the FFP crank pulley but needs a new alternator and waterpump pulley to contact me.

              Best Regards to all,

i have dealt with 9 so far and all end up making me look bad because they all give the same quote "ahh man, should be done in 2 weeks" always 2 weeks and 2 months later...well you may know what i am talking about.

pm me when you get the chance, as i have another project in the works that will need some1 skilled to make it happen................ ON TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                  Hey dohcfiend,

We do cnc work. Our machinist has a mult-million dollar CNC machine that uses state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design programing. I won't even be doing anything with it untill I get back from holidays in Tucson I'll be leaving at the start of Jan 06' and gone till the middle of Feb 06'.
I want to consider making a complete pulley set ; Power-steering, alternator, and waterpump pulley sets and give the customer the option to have ones custom made (size and finish) to there needs.
I'll Figure it all out when I get back.

                  Am I punctual?
Well, I will not tell you that I am ready to make them and send them till I am ready. Designing realisticly, takes TIME and don't happen right away. If It does, it is usually a junk product or at least not HIGH QUALITY.

Our Company is well know by all that do know us for ONLY MAKING THE HIGHEST QUALITY PRODUCTS or I won't bother making it.

                  Best regards to all,

Honestly you probably won't "feel" a difference. Only the track or a dyno will tell.

Okay... I broke down and got one(the alternator has a lifetime warranty and it's hard but not impossible to change). How much smaller should I go fro my belt?
