I see what you mean. Now, if the lower intake is drilled down to a 'U', will the injector cup fit in and sit like the injector? Or does the top half of the cup bottom out? What I mean is, is there a gap up top between the bottom of the cum and the intake that equals the amount of distace needed to recess the injector cup enough to have it even with the stock injector?

And, I take it that the injector cup is not solid in the intake like this, as it doesn't fit right?

not really, i have a few other things that really NEED to get done 1st. so i am putting this on haitus for about a month.

in theory, it shouldn't be hard to make these work as long as i can find a machinist worth a fuck.

          1st prototype completed

sorry been pre-occupied with other things but finally got the 1st prototype completed.

here are some pics of the initial proto that was done on a broken intake by me and a buddy of mine.

it pretty much worked exactly as planned for the fit anyhow.

next we shall make a working prototype. we will take a stock LIM and modify it to accept these nozzles and make sure the car runs and drives w/out problems(off the juice) and do 1 quick run on the juice also to verify proper operation.

lastly, i will take my ported LIM and have it professionally machined to accept the NOSzles as well as port match the spacer.

as you can see all it takes to make them fit is to drill out the injector ports until the noszle housing touches the cup, 4 longer fuel rail bolts, 4 round spacers and a plenum spacer so far, so good...

P.S. i am running into 1 small problem that perhaps you guys can help with. the bolts, on the 96-97 plenums there are 3 different length bolts, the bottom row i have covered by getting lucky at napa, the 2 end bolts i simply used the 2 longer middle bolts for the top row but i haven't found the 2 longest top row middle bolts yet. can you guys see if you can find me 2 5.5 inch m8 1.25mm thread pitch bolts somewhere?? PLZ

ACE Hardware is the place for bolts. If they don't have them they can probably know where to get them... Or you can get some all thread and make your own studs. that would be the "Ghetto" easy alternative..
