Hey everyone,I'm new to the site so please forgive my ignorance. Anyway i have a 92 Pontiac s.e. w/the 3.4 dohc, the car has 150,000 miles on it and i had wanted to rebuild the engine in it at the beginning of next year.My plan was to do a basic engine rebuild and port and polish the heads/intake,Add a performance computer chip (if there's one available),add a c.a.i. and maybe look into re-grinding the present cams (if it can be done) or adding performance cams (are any available?)I was just wondering if these engines can be bored out to accept larger pistons,Or is that something to stay away from? Thanks,All help is appreciated.

RE: Questions on doing a 3.4 D.O.H.C. hi-performance rebuild
Id tell you to check out the store site, but you may as well wait until the new store is up since it will be more descrptive and up to date soon. You can get the cams reground by either CHRfab or supposedly crower. Pistons, you can bore over the cylinders some but I wouldn't go more than you need to. Computer chip, 60v6 store, i write them:P CAI, talk to DOHC or check the buy sell trade section for his post.Ben
