Here's another problem. How are you going to make it work with OBD 1.5 and OBDII cars with SFI? They have a crank damper sensor for timing.

you miss the point a dampner dampens harmonics in the chankshaft lighter an you turn the motor hard enought you'll crack a crank or worse.
