I'm wondering if I can run higher than stock oil pressure by shimming or swapping out the pressure regulator spring in the oil pump? Or if it is even advisable to do that? I know I've seen the guys on Horsepower TV do it a few times with LS1's and other engines as well. Does anyone have any insight/experience/knowledge to share regarding this?
