My design was kinda close to that. But using that method, there is no way to really get them equal length, it would be guess work. So I used 3/8" copper tubing, it is flexible, and no matter how I turn it-it will stay 30". So I got them ran out with that, then covered it with a covering that makes them 1 5/8". Then I figured out all the sections of pipe and amrked them and cut them. Then i tookt he pipe and used duct pape to get it together and modify them to fit etc. After this I tacked them and peeled the tape off. Then I finished the welds and ground them down lightly. After this I fit them into the car and figured out where on the flange they should weld at. I marked this and got them welded to the flange, then adjusted the end of the primaries a little and got the collector on and welded. Tehn i test fit them and started it to problem solve. IT WAS LOUD AND SOUNDED LIKE ASS. So I took them down and had them coated, then I put them on and finished the downpipe and hooked it up to the rest of the exhaust.
