I seen that you made the chip, but do i really need to change the timming or do you have a chip for stock timming.

I am interested in the same thing. I would prefer to keep my timing stock, for now at least. I was also wondering if i should keep or remove the screen in my MAF.

I have stock timing tuned no problem. Remove the screen but not before the chip. I mean, you can but it does throw the computer fueling off which is why I went to the trouble of retuning the fueling for the screenless setup.

I was hoping to have dyno results this week, but it will hopefully be next week as this is all up to whenever Chris can take his car to the dyno for me. Also, the shift points will be up to you. I can recommend settings but its up to your tastes and how much your transmission likes you:P

thats good but what kind of shifting points do you recommend for a 4t60-e that has higher mileage.
Im hoping to run tens in the 1/8 if I can, Im already running a 10.6 so would this chip really help with that?

I don't know how it effects 1/8 mile. The only track difference I know of includes 6/6 cam timing and wasn't the final tuning (was too rich at the time).

I can leave them stock, or raise them a small amount other than 3-4, which is 104 stock and 120 works great. Most people won't even care cause thats faster than they go, but its there anyway. Im willing to try whatever, but I take no responsibility for your engine or transmission. I will not do anything stupid either, so telling me you want first to hold till 60 isn't gonna happen:P

So I should remove it when/if I get the chip. Definetly intersted in buying one and lokking forward to dyno numbers.

I would remove the screen but only with the reprogrammed chip.
