Well, i think its easy, others think its hard as hell, so it depends on how mechanically inclined you are. To time it to stock, you need a flat bar like the one shown under the DOHC section of the site, Maintenance. To set it to alternate timing, the DOHC timing tool sold on the site store is the easiest way to go for accuracy. Being a 95, you only need either a 15mm socket and another 15mm socket or wrench to remove the cam bolts. A cam gear holder helps a lot but there isn't anything cheap for that as kent moore makes the tool. If you want, you can use a 15mm on another cam and use the belt for tension to keep the motor from cranking backwards while you word on the cam bolts. Its best to use a holder if you plan to reuse the belt. Your lockring will come out with some prying or tapping on the backside of the cam gear once the bolt is out, letting you spin the gears without spinning the cams.Ben

so what is the opinion on what the advance/retard should be? i have heard 13 degrees repeated over and over.. but he speaks about 12 in his article. 6 adv/6 retard. how did the 7/6 work? what about the 8/8? i have a 92 w/ brand new crate 96 and the old 4T60E auto
