I read your write up and i will totally reference it when it comes time but i have a question.
I couldnt tell if you were saying if the engine now was better down low or better up high or both?1984 Indy Fiero 3.4L
13.7 sec @ 98 mph

The top end was better than stock but it wasn't as nice as the 13 exhaust retard. If I have to guess, id say it shifted the powerband down about 400 RPM vs 13 degree exh retard. The bottom end is much better than the 13 degree timing, and was better than stock as well. I personally think GM should have made the 6/6 timing stock cause it works so well with the automatic.Ben

I am still confused.....
On the writeup, it looks like you set the timing with the crank set forward 13*; so was that with TDC #1 with the cams flat?
I thought the crank should look like stock pic, TDC #1, with adjustments made on the cam flats?
