  • TORQUE FOR LOWER AND UPPER INTAKE BOLTS

    3.4dohc 94 z34

Got a set of lower and upper intake already gasket matched and polished.
I will be replacing the stock ones. Need to know the torque for the bolts, also if I should use any kind of sealant with the gaskets.

    BTW
Got the intakes on e-bay for about $50.00 shipped !!!
Also got all the gaskets and o-rings at Rockauto.com ,good service!!

    Thanks

94 is 30 ft. lbs., for the lower and I would assume it is the same for the plenum. I don't use any sealer, but some do. High temp RTV. As with any intake, start in the middle and work your way out in a circular pattern. You probably know that.
BTW, Hell of a deal on a matched set.
If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.
