Forged Pistons/Forged Rods

I did Ross Forged racing pistons and SB Chevy rods in my motor, I think .020 over on the pistons. The rods are just forged 4340 aluminum rods with the crank journal modidifed to fit the 3.4 crank.

4340 Aluminum? Must be some new exotic alloy What brand were these forged STEEL rods?
