I just recently purchased a jet performance module, a magnaflow converter, flowmaster mufflers and I took the stock airbox out and put a cone filter on the intake. Now i'm looking for plugs and wires. The thing is i found nology wires for the 93-95 camaros but not for my pontiac. I am wondering if all the 3.4's are the same or if the rear drive camaro 3.4's had different ignition on them.
The only thing better than GM is a GM with a 60V6 under the hood.

    RE: ignition

The DOHCs require a different connection on the plug than the pushrods, and the lengths would be quite different. Do a search for Magnecor wires for a good set of wires for the DOHCs.

Magnecor is the best dohc wires on the market. And if you want a good ignition system MSD DIS-4 is the best for the motor. Here is a list of all the parts you need.

Magnecor wire set pn65202 (8.5mm red for best results)
      MSD DIS-4 Ignition pn62152
MSD Coil Interface pn8870 (3 needed)
MSD Blaster Gm Dual Coil Pack pn8224 (3 needed)
      edit
AutoLite Copper Core Spark Plugs (no platinum or hype spark plugs they get to hot)

      For the wires

      96 Z34 3.4 SC DOHC Getrag, 284 5sd manual transmission, stage 3spec clutch, 97 engine, 97 pcm, S3 intercooler 1 of 1 Roots SC LQ1 in the world 8.5 psi.

The DIS-4 just gives better gas milage, no performance increase at all. Had one on my 3.1 and tested it at the track. Magnecor are the wires to get, nology are a joke. The jet module is a joke too, you should just get rid of it now cause its not going to do anything for you.

My setup is track proven. It took off .22 seconds in the 1/4. I tested it with the bypass module at new england dragway like 3 weeks ago. I agree with you on the jet modules they are a joke.

ixnay on the autolites. i dont care if you have dyno or tack proven results to say they are better than delco's, i still wont believe it. id just get the magnecore wires and forget about all that other stuff. imo, its not worth it. the 8mm mc wires cost about the same as delco's, a little more.

Thats how I ran mine with the 3.1, bypass plug, plugged in. Repeat back and forth with nothing gained. I guess we need a dyno to sort this one out.

There is one about 45min away from me but no one is ever at the phone so I dont no there time's. The next is 15min more of a trip and they are very active. I will go as soon as get the new rims for my M/T . One of the rims came with a bad defect.

Cool, that will be interesting to see some dyno results. Maybe the 3.1 doesn't need it like the DOHC does, i dunno.
