He was really cool because he said he could made provisions for fastners and the whole nine.

So, since so many cars are going with plastic intakes any way why not do that. Shit, you could easily build a two stage manifold out of MDF and wood dowel and fiberglass. Make it two pleices then have it plastic-welded together. Not to mention, that the surfaces would be perectly smooth, no porting nessesary. He was telling me for the airbox design I had in mind it would be no more than 200 bucks.

I'm sure Ben that you know exactly the volume and and length of runners you want. I say start playing.

If, I wasn't planning to do a blower that's what I would do.

I'm interested in this. It is tempting to almost start taking measurements for what I would consider "optimum" volume and length's of the runners...

I have an intake idea to throw out there.

You ever seen or familiar with Dog Thorley Tri Y headers. Take that concept but reverse it. kinda. If you take two opposing cylinder intake strokes. and y them together 6=8 inches before LIM (intake runner volume equal to volume of air drawn during one intake stroke of piston) Then collect the remaining 3 tubes into a collector for the throttle body. The intake charge velocity would stay up avoiding reversion. It would act as one long intake runner to each cylinder. Since they would alternate air intake.

I'm I making any sense to anyone?
