Anyone thought of doing away with the "in tank" pump? With a little ingenuity, how about mounting a Holley electric? Need "Yays or Nays"

    RE: Fuel Pump Options

I've heard all you have to do is hook up an inline pump (like the Holley) and you don't have to take the old pump out of the tank. The new pump just pulls the gas through the old one. Is this true?

i fuel injected my f150, i bought a mallory unit i dont remember exactly wich one though. it mounts as close to the tank as possible, ut it has a ven line that needs to be t-d into the return. no big deal on a truck, but it mounts in a way that it might be tight in acar

with some rigging, you could mount a walbro replacing the stock pump, my friend mounted up two side by side in his gas tank, just takes a lil cutting and soldering/brazing.

Walbro has a drop in replacement for the first gen w-body (250lph high pressure to boot). Mine's been going strong for almost 3 years now.
