  • Could this work?

    Just wondering if this turbo kit made for a fiero would work on a LQ1 in a lumina.

      The turbo itself would work... And are those exhaust headers just collectors?? (like stock?)... or are they even headers??? No way that kit would fit.

      It'd be cheaper to fab up your own kit. Just look at the length of the pipes coming off the turbo, those aren't fitting anywhere in a Lumina engine bay.

          I have a Fiero and a 3.4DOHC. I would stay away from theat kit. The a turbo looks like a normal t3. For a 3.4DOHC you need something bigger. T3/T4 . T4 or my favorite T66. Also need customs pistons to lower the compression at least 8.5:1. On stock engine the highest you can run is 9psi intercooled. GN turbos can do the trick for stock engines and are cheaper on ebay.

          I will boost mine but need a lot of engine mods done first. Like pistons, rods, cams and such.
