  • Magnaflow Exhaust...

I know this is the 120th exhaust topic in a month.. BUT i did a search and couldn't find part numbers...

What are the part numbers for Magnaflow mufflers with 2.25" piping...
Which mufflers are you guys using?

And where I can find some nice tips that are cheap, the magnaflow tips cost more than the mufflers . (probably would want the quad exit thing goin on...)

IE: stockish piping, throwing some mufflers on.

WWW.MAGNAFLOW.COM!!! is no one ever competent looking for information themselves these days??

tips can be found in exhaust shops for cheap too.

getting the universal mufflers is what most use with the magnaflow magnapack as a resonator. for the 3.4, it seems to be the best setup.

Just get 2 single center in/offset out, 2.25" in and out mufflers. They should work just fine. They are pretty universial, but I don't remember the length that I'm using. Most, if not all Magnaflow mufflers are straight through. I would recomend also replacing the cat(with a high flow or none), and the resonator(I'm using all Magnaflow components and it sounds great)

thanks heza *roll eyes* since i wasn't on the magnaflow site for 40 minutes pricing out a system...

14315 for future referance (for those who are apparently incompetent) for the stainless steel 2.25 in/out.... 4x9 which i can only guess is the right size. Thats approximately 75.89 canadian per muffler, or 54.65cdn for the aluminized mufflers.

I already don't have a cat, and i have a 10" resonator on, probably replace it with a magnapack tho.

You think performance wise you'd be better off with a glasspack? Or will it not really make a difference?

Won't make a difference, but IMO the 3.4L TDC sounds like shit without something there, whether it be a glasspack, or a high flow resonator, or even another muffler. I think mine are longer than 9", I want to say 12. And they are definately wider than 4", 6" rings a bell...

I feel stupid always telling people to get center in/outs... because that's what I used... *shrug* I have the 4x9's.

By the way Platinum, I dig the signiture. I get the same thing. They either think it's a cavalier... or a Beretta, just from looking. I say Z34, and people say "You mean Z24?" "No." "Oh, you mean Z28?" "No......."
