An update on Bens DOHC heads....

We cut a chamber today and it appears to my naked eye to be what the original was.

Going to move to a different machine and cut another to see how portable this is (G-code is G-code right?)

I will send Ben pictures so he can put em up as soon as I can...

Awesome. I will have this other head overnighted today. Cleaning it hasn't been easy since it was still covered in carbon and oil. Id love to see the pictures

A little off topic, but use loctite "chisel" gasket remover to get the carbon and other junk off of those heads.

Check out speedvision on jan 26th (exact time forthcoming) for a piece on the PRI show. There will be a moment or two of video of one of bens heads being probed and spun in 5-axis' of movement.

We cut 3 chambers and 2 exhaust ports at the show, the technology was a hit.

Awesome, ill have to see that PICS! Did you destroy that practice head or did it turn out ok (or at least have some chambers left for me to test on if nothing else)?

the practice head is what we cut on! when we mail em back u should have all chambers ok. we did however sell the machine, so we are without 5 axis probing right now till we build another. How much of a hurry are you in?
