ok first off all BowtieKid79 your not the first one to ever try this cam timing procedure. and im also going by dynos on the intake and plenum and throtle body .and my car does idle at exactly 1000 rpm , right on the line. the car has a shitload of low end torque, i dont know what is so hard to understand? why would i come on this site and just bull shit? i bet i know more about these cars than anybody else. and i have been working on them for over 6 years now. if you are on the street just idling doing 10 km/h and you punch it to the floor it nail you back in the seat right away and hit the red line immediatly. the other day i ran a 7.7 0-60 mph with completely flat tires and no mufflers at all and a bad spark plug wire( it got caught in the serp belt and got chewed up). now i know im not a professional driver so i think that is a damn good time for all the things that i had against me. i dont have a chip and i dont have an aftermarket underdrive pulley and i have the stock air filter and box. if you say that the car is not fast then you dont know what you are talking about. and dont forget that is also telling the person timing it to stop so ther is a couple of miliseconds there. i will race anybody here and when i do get my chipo and cold air intake and underdrive pulley in the spring i wont even have to worry about any of you guys beating me. i will probably waste most of you now!GM Goodwrench Tech - GM Certified

Why don't you tell us where you are located. If nothing else, you can come to the next 60V6 meet and show us how much you know at the track.Ben

first off smart ass, i never said i was the first to try it. i said i was the only person that i know of to do it AND DYNO IT. If you know of someone else, show me the dyno sheet. second, who said anything about intake, TB or anything else? You cant conpare what a bored TB would do vs cam timing. they are not related. And i am willing to put money on the fact that i know more about the DOHC than most of the people (excluding a few) on this board. I didnt get to where i am by not knowing anything and running my mouth like you. If there is any doubt in your mind as to how my UNTUNED car runs... ask ANYONE who rode in it at the 60* meet last year. If you are half as bad as you think you are, you will show up to next years meet. and i dont want to hear about any track or 0-60 times if you are doing it with a damn stop watch and using the stock speedo. neither are anywhere close to accurate. until you get some PROOF (dyno sheet or time slips) dont expect anyone to believe anything you say. all i can say is bring it to the meet for all of us to see.

where the hell is everybody elses dynos and time slips? and if they do have them you can easily modify it to say anything you want. i will have to take my friend in my car with his dv cam and video tape the shit to prove it! and i know people that have done the tb and intake and have dyno'd it and the reson i am saying that is because i did that to my car!and i am willing to put money down that i know more about the DOHC motor than you will ever know! Fuck i dont know why i am getting my head ripped off i just told you guys what i did to my car i have no reason to bullshit because i probably have way more nicer shit than you do and if you want to come see it then come see it!the only explination is that maybe i advanced the intake cams 13*. but i never thought of it. you tell me when the next 60* meet is and ill be there!GM Goodwrench Tech - GM Certified
