  • '97 DOHC colder plugs...

i was told by a source over on clubgp that the one heat range colder plug for their 3800's is the stock temp plug for our cars... so a autolite 105 plug from them is stock for our cars. anyone have any info on this? he told me to get these ac delco plugs, but just wanted to check and see if anyone here knows anything about it...

If you are wondering about plugs, get these. NGK, TR5IX plugs, these are Iridium and are spec for our cars. It ain't gettin' any better than those baby. I found them here in Canada for $15.00CDN a pair, at Canadian Tire, that's the best price you will ever find.

ya i have NGK TR55's in right now and my car doesnt like them as much as the stock rapidfires i had in there... ill pass on the overpriced iridium ones, id rather change them every 40k or some miles

TR55's are different than TR5's, no? That might be the reason why your car doesn't like them...

actually the Denso Iridium plugs are the "Over Priced" ones. The NGK are a bargain at less than half the cost. You could also try Bosch Platinum 4+...........Nah, I'm just fuckin' with you. I actually used the AC rapid fires for a while they were fine plugs.
