ford SC?

any1 figure out how to put a ford SC from a thunderbird onto a 3.4? i'm thinking about buying a thunderbird and parting it for the SC and sell the other parts.

I have one of those. Its gonna go on my Z24 after my engine swap(00 3100) this fall/winter.

I liked it because its acually easier that trying to put GMs version of the M90 on there. You don't need to cut a hole in your plenum. Later if you want you can add an (air to air instead of water to air) intercooler. you can mount it just about anywhere with fabrication. I'm pretty sure at this point I'm gonna make something to where it mounts to the plenum and cut a hole in my hood and make a custom hood scoop. I believe you need a custom or GM pulley though because the T-bird supercharger has something like 8 grooves.

The Ford T-bird Supercoupes had an air to air intercooler from the factory.

And yes the blower drive belt was a different system than the serpentine one. It sits behind, and is bigger. And it was a BITCH to change that blower belt.

You mean change the belt on a T-bird or put one on a 3.4 DOHC?

Putting one on a DOHC, hope you have a welder and a prybar. Changing the belt on a T-bar, hope you have a hammer and a bigger prybar. And a gun. And beer.

i have a eaton M90 thunderturd S/C kicking around as well.. was going to use it on a 3400 in a Jbody, but we saw the light and are turbo'ing the bitch instead... i need to find a use for this S/C someday..
