    And since we alreadye have no float to 7200, there is no reason for them yet. But a new intake makes going to 7500-8000 reachable.

      Yup, thats the setup im running now. I can get solid lifters for mine as well but setting that up is going to be a major pain in the ass for lash adjustments. I have no reason to do it yet anyway.

        Lots of Chevy rods will handle it... just need a little tweaking.

        Or get a 2.8 DIS crank, 6.000" Chevy rods and custom pistons with a raised pin and punch the bore out 1mm... The 3.1 that GM should have built.
