96/97 intake swap into a 95

Alright so heres whats going on . I currently have a 95 Z34...and am wishing to get my upper and lower intakes P&P as well as the TB. Is it possible to do this on the 95's or will I have to upgrade to the 96-97's?? If I need to upgrade, what issues will I have with the heater hose on the 95 and PCV hose under the plenum on a 96??? Has anyone swapped them in?? Thanks alot!! - Don

Milzy or whoever from MyMOnte will do it, and offer a fairly good deal too.

But if they are anything like his headers, your stock ones will probly flow better.

a company called rsm(located in the links section) does porting as well but u will have to wait since they are in canada my advice is to get another set to send them as cores.

i have a 95 set laying around that i could sell you pm me if interested. if u do get it ported please post feedback on any noticeable performance.

to swap on a 96-97 intake u will need new gaskets, the tube that goes from the water pump to the lim, probably the 96-97 intake tube that goes from the tb to the airbox, 96-97 plug wires and both your egr tube and the 96-97 egr tube(if u plan to adapt it).

coolant lines there will be 2 heater core connections on the driver's side just plug one of them, u will need to have a new bracket made for your throttle/cruise cable, u will have to adapt the cruise cable connector to the different one on the 96-97 tb and lastly u will have to either adapt the egr to work or plug it and live with the SES light. think that is everything.

I wouldn't suggest RSM, becuz if you ever do get your pieces in the mail, they will probly not even be ported any.

They have a very bad reputation around here for their 3 month shipping, and total and utter avoidance of customers after they've been paid.
