The lines should be the same. A metal wire liek thing with a small canister, like a small beer can , at the end that wraps around to grab the pulley. Of course the bracket will be different, but the lines should be the same just routed differently. Most all cars use this type of throttle cable...

Aaron, the cruise control line is different on the 96 style. The throttle cable uses the same line, but the cruise control has to be modified. Also, the bracket that holds the throttle cables is too far from the pulley--therefore, the throttle plate does not close all the way when the cable is "limp".

big problems, dyk you said the cables are the same? cuz i pan on gettting the 96 bracket, i had to make my own and have barely any room, its woorking though and the car is running. low end loss is noticable but pulls alot harder at the higer r's. the plenum actually touches the rubber on my firewall. pain in trhe ass swap, not sure if its worth it yet, gotta do some testing, but my hard star problem is gone.vrrrooooooooooooooooom i need new exhaust
