So I have some updates for the thread as of now.

I have gotten the cylinder heads gasket matched and opened up on both exhaust and intake sides. I have had a three angle valve jobs done and also new knurled and oversized valve guides installed. They have been planed flat as well

This is before the gasket matching

    This is after

And then I got the lower intake manifold matched the same,

I got a set of stock L67 injectors with wiring

I am about 2/3rds of the way done with my short runner intake and n* throttle body build

This is a pic of the plenum mocked up on the cut uim.

This is the mock up of the full intake without the throttle body adapter. Just tack welding it together so it can go to get tig welded.

I need to know if anyone has a part number for ARP head stud kit and possible main studs and rod bolts. Thanks

I know Ben carries the bottom end ones in the store. I think he carries the head studs as well.

Edit: I didn't find head studs in the shop, but I think timg has found a kit that would work. I would look through some of the threads he started.

did you round off the sharp edges on the top side of those runners at all?

Yeah sorry suoerdave for not posting that pic but yes I beveled all the runners on the plenum side using a carbide bit and then a mini belt sander to minimize turbulence

              Woof.

Rounded edges work much better than sharp ones. Think about the leading-edge of a raindrop--blunt and rounded, supremely aerodynamic. It's the trailing edge that's pointy.

Yah, i'd round off those points between the ports for sure. lol

Just for FYI why should I round the points? I thought that they would be fine if they came to a point

We have head studs but you can't use washers with them.

...and the tool-marks you left are going to be a disaster in terms of turbulence.

Same reason we put clay on the intake ports on a flow bench, air flow across a sharp edge creates turbulence and can actually hurt flow. I googled a bit for a diagram that I've seen before but couldn't find it to show how it works.

The sides are probably ok, i'd clean them up a little once you have the tube welded on. Between the ports though, you'll want to round off that edge and clean it up. The texture from the carbide burr is fine, but rounded off will really help keep the flow clean through the runners.

Some of the shittiest looking port work I have seen has also flowed extremely well.

Superdave I have rounded the edges in between the cylinders, the edges will be massaged to match the plenum once that is finish welded

ITBs and carb throats come to mind too.
