    No, runner taper, not curve. That means the cross sectional area of the runner decreases as it gets closer to the intake port 9Think funnel, only not so radical). I think the optimum taper is somewhere around 7 degrees. When you use a tapered runner, the shrinking size of the runner speeds up the intake charge, increasing port velocity, which will promote more efficient cylinder filling.

    Go read some books on intake design..it will be worth it.

      I think I will. I was gonna say a turn shouldn't affect it. Yah I understand, but I really don't think I can find a way to do that.

      What do you think the optimum size(runner Diameter and lengh) would be for a 300hp 3.4L DOHC??

        If you are using the stock lower intake, there could be your way right there to taper it. Not sure if the air would like a change in diameter in that short of a distance though.

          I am not.

          About the tapering, I am going to ask ED from headers by ed if he can do those. If not, I will probly just go straight.

          But farmer wont get back to me on my flanges
