  • anyone else for header flanges for the DOHC.?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

ok, im goig to CAD up a set once i get to the wrecker for an exhaust gasket, unless someone wants to donate 1. I want to know who is interested in this... I guess like the other guy said, no one wants it till they see a pic. But, if you are interested in a set, let me know and ill get em....65US shipped.

Pics will follow shortly.. BTW, who would be interested in headers, do they have to be equal length, and what price are you willing to pay.

I'd be interested in flanges. I would also like to see pictures of them. What thickness will they be?

When will they be done? I am hopefully going to pull the engine/tranny out of my 91 to use as a jig soon, and I need a timeframe. I have the money but if it is too late, I will have to fab my own set up.

I'm sorry, I was really busy this weekend, and did not have time to pick them up. I will be stopping by the parts store after work tomorrow to get them. I had to get two new rear tires ($40 so my header plans have slowed down. I no longer need them in a short time, but will still get a set as soon as they are available so I have them when I need them. If you cannot wait for me to get a set, I would not get the gaskets themselves, but the manifold. Reason being, the stock one IIRC have that U shaped strip of metal holding them together, which means you can spread the measurement between ports, or make them closer together, by pushing or pulling on the ends of the gasket.

Ok, I went to Napa today, because they have the ones that have a solid strip of metal between ports that will keep the measurements right, and they have ordered it. So unless I hear otherwise, I am picking them up to send up to you. If you went to the junk yard already, I will not pick them up since I didn't have to pay for them yet. Also, $65 shipped is an awesome price, but what about border tax, does it only apply to businesses? I hope so. Anyways, if I still need to pick those gaskets up, I will go ahead and send my money for a set of flanges along with the gaskets.

Ok. I cut a couple of peices of wood to sandwich them between so they don't get destroyed on the way up. They were made in Canada, so they are on their way back home, lol. I already have your address (you pm'ed me with it about a week ago), so I will mail them off tomorrow when the post office is open.

The NAPA gaskets arw what I use, they helped a lot. Make sure on the flanegs that it is not a big rectangle. I used a 1 foot by 4in piece and had to cut down out of it between ports so it would clear random pieces in the head. It is hard to explain.

What in the world does IIRC mean?
