Yes I ordered the 40mm throttle bodies. I was unhappy with the size, and after going through hell and back we decided that 48s were best. So I sent the 40s back and I'll have the 48s in about a month. I oprdered my 6 tapers. They go from 2" diameter to 1 3/4" in a distance of about 4". I also cut up a LIM, basically removing the water outlet section of it. I then painted that black, tapped the outlet on it that goes to the UIM, and put a plug into it. I leave for college in a week. So i will order the parts I need while I'm at school, and my dad will just put them in the garage.

I told you several months ago that 40mm was going to be too small on this engine. Why do you ask everyone for input, and then not listen to it?

I know and i now realize you were right.

Oh well, at the time 40 sounded much bigger than it was.

Over $12K invested, and still its slow. Maybe thats because thats most all repairs. Don\'t knock the engine though, because thats the only part that has seemed to last.
